Emma Parkinson

Ms. Parkinson is currently preparing the role of Mercedes which she will sing in a new production of Carmen with Seefestspiele Berlin!

Emma completed her debut role as Siebel with Opera de Montreal at the end of May.  Thanks to a wonderful cast and crew!

Emma is currently in rehearsals for Faust with Opera de Montreal.  The show opens May 19 and runs the 22, 24, 26th at Salle Wilfrid Pelletier at Place des Arts.  Directed by Alain Gauthier and conducted by Emmanuel Plasson. It will be a wonderful show!!

Emma is now in rehearsals for Rossini et ses muses with Atelier Lyrique!

Emma is in Toronto to take part in the annual COC Ensemble/Atelier Lyrique exchange.  She will collaborate with the coaches and singers of the COC Ensemble for 5 days, culminating in a final concert on February 7, 2012.

Emma has returned from the concert tour of China with wonderful memories and eight successful performances in six different cities.  A special thank you to all the wonderful people involved in putting together the tour and to the Orchestre Symphonique des Jeunes de Montreal.

This Christmas, Emma will be performing a concert tour of China with Orchestre Symphonique des Jeunes de Montréal, and soprano Chantal Nurse.  Concert repertoire includes selections by Rossini, Bizet, Mozart, Puccini and Offenbach.  The tour will travel to Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Luoyang, Xi’an and Lanzhou.

Emma will be singing the Alto solo in Mozart’s exquisite arrangement of Handel’s Messiah with the MSO.  December 21st and 22nd @ 7:30pm – Maison Symphonique de Montréal.
